Current Needs
All items are welcome but the pantry is in particular need of:
HOLIDAY ITEMS
Canned/packaged turkey or chicken gravy
Bagged/boxed stuffing
Cranberry sauce
Shelf stable milk
Non-perishable pie crusts, pie fillings,
evaporated milk, etc.
Canned protein: SPAM; tuna, salmon, chicken, sardines; small hams; Vienna sausages; beef stew; chili; has
Peanut Butter, Sun Butter, Nut Butters
Jams, jellies
Cereals, hot and cold
Canned fruits
Olive Oil, Canola Oil, Peanut Oil
Condiments: Salad dressing, ketchup, mustard, relish, mayonnaise
Canned veggies, esp. beets and spinach
Canned/bagged beans: all kinds
Bagged lentils
Tomato sauce / canned tomatoes
Side dishes: Rice/noodles/mac & cheese
Coffee, tea
Juices
Gluten-free Foods
Low salt or no-salt foods
Canned Pasta sauce
Grains: 100% Whole Grains like Brown Rice, Quinoa, Bulgur, Barley, Rolled Oats, Wild Rice, Whole Wheat/Grain Pasta, Whole Grain Cereal
Personal care products:
Toothpaste, deodorant, razors, toilet paper, soap, shampoo
Household products:
Laundry detergent, dish liquid, paper towels
We are excited to be donating stuffing, cranberry sauce and the traditional fixings to the MLK Center for the upcoming holiday season. Please join us in providing non-perishable food or monetary donations, which we will put towards holiday food items for the food pantry!
For monetary donations requiring a receipt for tax purposes, please provide a check made out the the MLK Center and we will include it with our food drop off.
